Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
"No Island" sort of springs out of nowhere, and fills that void with a full and vibrant whole that is much more than the sum of its parts, it sublimates at least thirty years of alternative rock and blends noise-rock, ambient, drone, dream-pop, garage-rock, psychedelia, deforms previous languages and creates a new one capable of telling a new world.

Five years after their supposed breakup, the beloved trio of Cassie Ramone, Katy Goodman, and Ali Koehler make a triumphant return. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 18, 2019
Synths abound on the new single from Hearts and Rockets—icy cold, sharp, and minimal, and topped with a punk rock sneer. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 22, 2020
My god, what an absolutely incredible Suite. I'll admit, I've struggled to get into Pharoah Sanders due to diving headfirst into some of his most challenging catalogue and that never worked. This is the perfect place to restart. Floating Points is new for me and I can honestly say I've never heard synthesizer music this lush and organic before. the LSO is just perfect. This is one of those albums that any serious music fan needs in their life. The perfect swan song for the great Pharaoh! 5/5 ClassyMusicSnob
